Vunilagi Vou projects are independently funded initiatives ranging from events, collaborative artworks and research.

Current projects include:

  • Southside Talanoa Series – a series of dialogue events delivered around Ōtāhuhu for the Pasifika Arts programme of Auckland Council (August – October 2019)
  • CROCHET YOU STAY! – a series of crochet collaborations between Ōtāhuhu-based artists Melissa Cole and Rudi Robinson, and three Pacific female artists: Falencie Filipo, Leilani Kake and Czarina Wilson, produced with support from the 125 Suffrage Fund, Creative New Zealand (2019)
  • Southside Summer School – a one-day ‘art school’ covering arts administration and project management, tattoo practice, and digital storytelling, produced with support from the Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board (2020)
