VV:Dua book

VV:Dua is Vunilagi Vou’s first publication produced with support from Creative New Zealand. It documents Vunilagi Vou’s first year of operation, including curatorial texts from nine exhibitions delivered in the Ōtāhuhu premises before the global pandemic bought around the first ‘shapeshift’ to Vunilagi Vou 2.0 in suburban Papatoetoe, South Auckland. The publication stands as an archive of independent arts management in South Auckland, a record of hustle, resilience and creative production.

VV:Dua is a 70 page full-colour A6 book, designed by Nicole Lim, featuring approximately 11,000 words, 43 full-colour images, nine curatorial and artist statements, a longer form essay and a commissioned paper delivered at the 2019 Para Site International Conference in Hong Kong.

All funds raised through book sales go directly back into Vunilagi Vou’s exhibition fund, enabling us to produce independent exhibitions in South Auckland all day, every day!
